ArenaNet policy change?
OK, so i sent ArenaNet a ticket about "X" who is in clear violation of a seious EULA rule....this was almost an hour ago.
I received a reply from ArenaNet within minutes of sending it, saying "Thankyou for your report, blah blah" but this person still remains active and is in clear violation of Anets policies.
EVERY other person that's been reported for this same reason has been dealt with before...and in a matter of minutes.
Is it possible that the support person may be new and doesn't know how to get rid of this scumbag? Should i send a new ticket and hope it gets seen by someone else? Or has ArenaNet released a new EULA without telling everyone?
Report sent (and dealt with) but the situation isn't resolved...what's going on?

unless you tell me exactly how this person was in violation of the eula, i can only speculate. but if your sending them stuff about how this guy is swearing in CA... i seriously doubt anything is going to happen. if it was a bot, then sure it might be weird.
and you arent the only one sending anet 'tickets', they recieve _alot_ so if it takes time for yours to be processed im really not surprised.

It's a gold seller.
The ticket was handled, replied to and presumably in their eyes... "resolved" yet this person/bot continues on it's path to riches.
I just updated the ticket with yet another bot and accompanying screenshot and reminded them of the first incident which is yet to be resolved.
See if that helps :/

Well, waiting an hour isn't exactly waiting for a very long time. Also, are you sure that the response was not an automated response? The last time I sent in an issue to support, I got an instant automated response, and then when I checked back after 24 hours, I got confirmation of the fact that the issue is being looked into.
I would personally advise patience in this case. As for every other similar violation that's been dealt with within minutes.. well, that's a rather expansive statement to make, no? No one except for ArenaNet knows exactly how true that statement is..
I wish you all the best in the resolution of your issue, but since this case will really only be helped by support, and not by posting it here, I'm going to close the thread.
Thank you,
Aria
